Uninsulated wires and bare conductive products refer to wire materials without insulation and sheaths, mainly including three series of products: bare single wires, bare stranded wires, and profile wires and profiles.

Copper and aluminum single wires: include soft copper single wires, hard copper single wires, soft aluminum single wires, and hard aluminum single wires. They are mainly used as semi-products for various wires and cables, and are also used in a small amount in the manufacturing of communication cables and electrical machinery and appliances.

Bare stranded wires: include hard copper stranded wires (TJ), hard aluminum stranded wires (LJ), aluminum alloy stranded wires (LHAJ), and steel core aluminum stranded wires (LGJ). They are mainly used for the connection of electrical equipment and electronic appliances or components. The specifications of these various stranded wires range from 1.0 to 300 mm2.

Power cables are cable products used in the main lines of the power system to transmit and distribute large amounts of electrical power. They include power cables of various voltage levels (1 to 330KV and above) and various insulation types.

The cross-sectional areas are 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400, 500, 630, 800 mm2, and the core numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3+1, 3+2 cores.

Power cables are classified by voltage levels as low-voltage cables, medium-voltage cables, and high-voltage cables, etc. They are also classified by insulation types as plastic-insulated cables, rubber-insulated cables, and mineral-insulated cables, etc.

Overhead cables are also quite common. Their characteristic is that they have no sheath. Many people have three misconceptions about this type of cable. Let me correct them here.

First, the conductor of this cable is not only aluminum; it also has copper conductors (JKYJ, JKV), aluminum alloy (JKLHYJ). Now there are also steel-core aluminum stranded overhead cables (JKLGY).

Second, it is not only single-core; the common ones are usually single-core, but it can also combine several conductors into a bundle.

Third, the voltage level of overhead cables is 35KV and below, not 1KV and 10KV as some mistakenly think.

This type of cable structure is similar to that of power cables. Its characteristic is that it only has a copper core, without an aluminum core. The conductor cross-section is smaller, and the number of cores is larger, such as 24*1.

Common models include KVV, KYJV, KYJV22, KVV22 and KVVP. The model meanings are as follows: "K" stands for control cable, "V" represents polyvinyl chloride insulation, "YJ" represents cross-linked polyvinyl chloride insulation, "V" represents polyvinyl chloride sheath, and "P" represents copper core shielding layer.

For the shielding layer, KVVP is typically used for copper core shielding; if it is copper tape shielding, it is represented as KVVP2; if it is aluminum-plastic composite tape shielding, it is represented as KVVP3. Different materials of the shielding layer have their own characteristics and functions.

It is mainly used in households and distribution cabinets. Friends who own hardware stores are most familiar with it. The commonly referred to BV wire belongs to the cloth wire. The model names include BV, BLV, BVR, RVV, RVVP, BVVB, etc...

In the model representation of wire and cable, the letter B is often seen. Different places represent different meanings.

Take BVVB as an example. The B at the beginning means cloth wire. It indicates the application category of the cable, just like JK indicating overhead cable and K indicating control cable. The B at the end represents the flat type, which is an additional special requirement for the cable. The meaning of BVVB is: copper core polyvinyl chloride insulated polyvinyl chloride sheathed flat cable.
