When buying wires, don't get confused by the letters. Just remember the pattern rules and you can choose them yourself.

The model is divided into two parts: the letters in the front indicate the material and structure, and the numbers at the back indicate the specifications. For example, "3×1.5" means 3 wires, each 1.5 square millimeters.

First, identify these key letters:

B and R: B is for fixed hard wire, R is for multi-strand soft wire.

V and YJ: Both are insulated wires, and YJ is more resistant to high temperature and high pressure.

Other commonly used letters: K is for control wire, P is for shielded to prevent interference, S is for twisted pair.

Match the common models:

For home decoration: BV single-strand, BVR multi-strand is softer and suitable for running through pipes and corners.

For equipment inside: RV has no sheath, RVV has an additional layer of outer skin, allowing for pulling.

For engineering power supply: YJV has a large current capacity, KVV is specifically for transmitting control signals.

When choosing wires, ask yourself three questions:

Fixed or mobile? Use BV/BVR for fixed installation, RV series for more flexible bends.

Fear of interference? Close to strong electrical equipment, choose the shielded line with P.

Transmit power or signal? Large current use YJV, control circuits use KVV.

Final safety reminder:

Although V is soft, it is still a fixed installation wire and cannot be used as a dragging wire.

One V represents insulation, two V are insulation plus sheath.

YJV has a temperature resistance of 90 degrees, 20 degrees higher than ordinary wires. Be sure not to make a mistake when dealing with heavy loads.
